Dayan Rosen joined McGuireWoods as a partner in Los Angeles. Rosen represents financial institutions, private equity firms and portfolio companies in leveraged finance and other transactions, including acquisition financings, middle-market debt financings, syndicated lending, asset-based lending and cash flow-based debt financings.

Rosen joined McGuireWoods’ debt finance practice and will work with the firm’s private equity team and its emerging manager and independent sponsor programs. He joined McGuireWoods after building a debt finance practice at a regional law firm headquartered in Southern California. He previously practiced at two AM Law 100 firms and served as a director in the legal department of UBS Investment Bank in Tokyo.

“Dayan’s record of success is matched by his passion for helping clients make connections and get deals done,” Richard W. Viola, deputy managing partner of McGuireWoods’ corporate practice, said.

Rosen is the fourth partner to join McGuireWoods’ debt finance practice this year, following the arrivals of Jon Mooney in Pittsburgh, Alan Holliday in London and Jeff Goldfarb in New York.

“Dayan’s reputation as a trusted, business-savvy adviser to lenders and private equity clients makes him a perfect fit for our team,” Kevin McGinnis, chair of McGuireWoods’ debt finance department, said.

“Dayan’s wealth of experience and market knowledge will benefit our clients immensely,” Hamid Namazie, managing partner of McGuireWoods’ Los Angeles office, said.

“McGuireWoods has a top debt finance practice and an innovative private equity team known for client service excellence,” Rosen said. “I look forward to collaborating with this world-class team and introducing my clients to the firm’s powerful platform.”
