Exitus Capital, a financial institution in the Mexican market, acquired a majority stake in CV Credit.

Exitus Capital provides factoring, revolving credit lines, leasing and real estate project financing to small- and medium-sized businesses. The company acquired 55% of CV Credit’s shares.

“With this acquisition, CV Credit and Exitus Capital are looking to continue to strengthen their leadership in the financing of international trade transactions between Mexico and the United States, through products such as factoring and supply chain finance to small- and medium-sized companies,” Luis Gabriel Segura, president of CV Credit, said in a letter announcing the transaction. “We are aware that to be successful in an increasingly globalized world, we need to have physical presence in strategic markets. For this reason, we are certain that this merger will enable us to serve the international trade in the region in a more effective manner.”
