Crestmark announced the promotion of Mick Goik to president and chief operating officer of Crestmark Bank, overseeing corporate operations and the four regional offices nationwide. Previously, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer, and has been with Crestmark for nine years. Goik has held many roles at Crestmark including manager of business development, new product development, director of finance and accounting, and head of IT. Goik has negotiated and achieved six acquisitions and four joint ventures in the last five years, tripling the company’s portfolio and size.

Goik joined Crestmark from GE Capital. He was recipient of Crain’s Detroit Business 40 Under 40 Recognition in 2009, and is active in several community groups.

“This promotion and increase in responsibilities is in recognition of Mick’s many achievements while here at Crestmark,” said W. David Tull, Crestmark chairman and founder. “His intelligence, work ethic, no-nonsense approach, and sense of humor have been great assets, and I am excited to work with him as he continues to make this a bigger and better institution.”
