Carl Marks Advisory Group LLC, the investment banking and corporate revitalization firm headquartered in New York, announced the promotions of Michael Flynn to director and Scott Webb to vice president for the investment banking group.

Flynn, who joined Carl Marks as a vice president in 2008, has more than ten years of financial restructuring and investment banking experience. He serves as an advisor to both public and private corporations and their creditors, providing financial advisory services for client engagements involving bankruptcies, workouts, loan restructurings, due diligence, and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Carl Marks, Flynn was a director in the Corporate Restructuring practice of FTI Consulting.

Flynn graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in Biology and received an M.B.A. from Boston University. He is registered with FINRA as a General Securities Representative and holds the Series 7 and Series 63 certifications and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association.

Webb joined Carl Marks in 2007 as an analyst and brings more than six years of financial restructuring and investment banking experience to his new position. He is responsible for financial restructuring, debt and equity capital raises, and mergers and acquisitions assignments across a wide range of industries, including real estate, media, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, specialty retail, transportation, consumer products and specialty foods.

Webb graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Business Administration. He is registered with FINRA as a General Securities Representative, holds Series 7 and Series 63 certifications and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
