Registration is now open for the International Factoring Association’s (IFA) 21st Annual Factoring Conference, to be held April 15 through April 18, at The Roosevelt New Orleans hotel in Louisiana.

The IFA’s Annual Factoring Conference is the largest global meeting of banks and finance companies that offer factoring and receivables financing services. The Conference unites hundreds of industry leaders for three days of impactful discussions about key market trends and best practices, along with plenty of networking and deal-making opportunities.

More than 60 speakers will present valuable intelligence and viewpoints, ranging from a Fraud Forum to Financing Inventory-In-Transit. As a global conference dedicated to the banks and finance companies that offer factoring and receivables financing, it will feature presentations from around the world. These include Legislative Changes in Latin America, Factoring with the European Community, and Doing Business in Quebec. The 2015 Factoring Conference is expected to top last year’s attendance, with more than 45 vendor booths and over 750 attendees.

The Conference will include a keynote address from Lt. General Russel Honoré, retired Commander of the Joint Task Force-Katrina. Honoré emerged as a national hero and one of the U.S.’s best-known military leaders after spearheading the Task Force responsible for the massive search-and-rescue mission and the restoration of order in New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast following Hurricane Katrina. He is the author of Survival How a Culture of Preparedness Can Save You and Your Family from Disasters and Leadership in the New Normal, which discusses how to be an effective leader in the 21st century.

Other keynotes during the three-day event will be delivered by Charlie Cook, political analyst and publisher of The Cook Political Report, and Colette Carlson, president of Speak Your Truth.com. Cook is considered one of the nation’s leading authorities on American politics and U.S. elections. Using poll numbers, economic indicators, and historical data, Cook will discuss today’s political and legislative environments in a balanced, non-partisan way — from the policy direction of the current administration to the Congressional agenda. Carlson is an expert on gender intelligence with clients that include Boeing, Cisco, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Proctor & Gamble and the United States Government. She serves as leadership faculty for Executive Women International and writes a monthly column, Tactfully Speaking, published in Business Management Daily.
