Coastal States Bank added four new bankers to its commercial banking team in the Atlanta region, with Paul Black II, Leslie Hammond, Kelly Maxwell and Alan Patterson joining the bank’s team in Cobb County, GA, to serve customers at the bank’s branch in Akers Mill, GA.

Black joined Coastal States Bank as senior vice president and Cobb County commercial banking team leader. Bringing 37 years of experience to CSB, Black will lead a team of commercial bankers in offering a range of financial solutions to local businesses.

Maxwell joined Coastal States Bank as senior vice president and commercial banker with 30 years of experience and will provide lending, deposit and treasury management solutions to business customers in the Atlanta area.

Also with 30 years of experience, Hammond joined the bank as senior vice president and private banker and will focus on business development, specializing in deposit and treasury management solutions.

Patterson joined the bank as senior vice president and commercial banker and will provide financing, deposit and treasury management services to homebuilders and commercial clients. Patterson has 38 years of banking experience.

“We are excited to welcome this talented group of bankers to our team in Cobb County. They bring a great amount of experience to CSB in years, skills and service that our business clients will value and appreciate,” Gary Dowell, Atlanta regional president for Coastal States Bank, said.

In addition to these hires, Coastal States Bank also added Karrie Boyd-Green and Cathy Roach as banking assistants for its Cobb County commercial banking team.

“Paul and the rest of the team have a strong community banking pedigree,” Steve Stone, president and CEO of Coastal States Bank, said. “By creating an environment where our bankers can thrive and deliver exemplary customer service to their clients, we are able to attract the best local bankers in the market.”
