Setton Farms, in partnership with the Wildflower Partners Family Office, has acquired Touchstone Pistachio Company, a pistachio processor located in the Central Valley of California. Cascadia Capital advised Touchstone on this transaction.
“There remains tremendous opportunity in the AgriFood Processing sectors,” Scott Porter, managing partner of Cascadia Capital, said. “We are seeing significant consolidation in the processing segment and expect strong tailwinds to come to fruition over the next several years. Touchstone Pistachio Company’s transaction with Setton Farms is exemplary of the industry consolidation we expect to continue.”
Touchstone Pistachio was managed by the Receiver, the Stapleton Group, a subsidiary of J.S. Held, and was represented by Covington & Burling. Setton Farms was represented by Saul Ewing.
