Capstone Headwaters, an investment banking firm serving middle market business owners, hired Edward Schatz as managing director of its Financial Advisory Services (FAS) Group. Based in Boston, Schatz will assist clients in navigating through operating and financial challenges by providing a variety of corporate restructuring, transaction advisory and specialty M&A services.

A 20-year industry veteran, Schatz was instrumental in the turnaround and restructuring of a wide range of middle market companies and has experience in out-of-court wind downs, liquidations, bankruptcies and divestitures of distressed businesses.
He joined the firm from The O’Connor Group, where he was a managing director focused on providing strategic and managerial guidance to public and private companies. Prior to his time at The O’Connor Group, Schatz worked at PwC and Deloitte & Touche.
