The American Association of Commercial Finance Brokers elected Kortney Murray as its new director at large and Leslie Brown as its new secretary/treasurer. The AACFB also elected Roderick Knoll, CLFP, of Marathon Commercial Capital as its new vice president.

Brown is the owner of Mak Global and is an 18-year equipment finance professional. She served as an elected member of the CLFP Foundation board for two years and is also an active member of the AACFB, having served on the education committee and as a staff writer for Commercial Break.

Murray is the founder of Coastal Kapital, which recently celebrated 10 years in business. Murray started her leasing career 19 years ago in Carlsbad, CA, at Innovative Lease. She later moved to Boston to teach a leasing course where she wrote and taught a training manual on how to run a successful business in equipment financing as a broker.

The AACFB also elected a new vice president, Roderick Knoll, CLFP, of Marathon Commercial Capital as its new vice president. Murray, Brown and Knoll will begin their service in their new positions in May following the 2022 AACFB Annual Conference in Charlotte, NC.

“I am excited to welcome these newest members of our board of directors,” Carrie Radloff, current president of the AACFB, said. “They will both bring valuable perspectives, ideas and energy to the board, which will benefit all AACFB members. I also want to thank AACFB past President Cindy Downs for her dedication and service to the AACFB as she completes her term on the board. Cindy has been an outstanding contributor to this association!”
