2026 Virtual Fraud Workshop

2026 Virtual Fraud Workshop
December 8-9, 2026
Fraud can take many forms, and the warning signs aren’t always obvious. A questionable invoice, an unusual payment request, or a gap in verification can raise questions that your team needs to resolve before funding.
Join the IFA’s Virtual Fraud Workshop for Factors on December 8–9 for two mornings focused on recognizing fraud risks, strengthening your procedures, and responding when something goes wrong.
The workshop will feature five attorney-led case studies, followed by two panel discussions. You’ll hear how fraud situations developed, what factors can learn from them, and where stronger due diligence or verification practices may help. A technology panel will discuss tools used to identify potential problems, and a factoring panel will share perspectives from within the industry.
Featured attorneys include: David Jencks, Jocelyne Macelloni, Jason Medley, Laurie Montplaisir, and Jared Ullman.
