Peter Ott has returned to Dorsey & Whitney as a partner in the finance and restructuring group in Salt Lake City.
Ott comes back to Dorsey after practicing at Parsons Behle & Latimer, where he was an of counsel attorney, and at Kirkland & Ellis, where he was a partner after practicing at Dorsey. He received his J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A. from University of Utah.
With a focus on debt financing transactions, Ott brings experience representing clients in a wide variety of complex financings across different industries. Ott represents private equity groups, commercial lending institutions and other private and public companies across various jurisdictions domestically and abroad. His experience includes helping clients navigate secured and unsecured financings.
