Lowell Little has joined Austin Bank as executive vice president and regional president of the bank’s Southeast Region.
“Lowell possesses extensive experience in both bank management and lending,” said Austin Bank Vice Chairman Jeff Austin III. “With his broad background in banking, Lowell has the skills that will enable him to foster opportunities for continued growth in Cleveland and our Southeast Region.”
Lowell began his 33-year banking career as a credit analyst with Allied First National Bank in Angleton in 1986. He steadily progressed through the ranks becoming a loan officer, relationship officer, in portfolio sales, private banker and institutional trust administrator as the bank went through changes to First Interstate Bank of Texas and a later acquisition by Wells Fargo.
In 1997, he moved to Prime Bank in Houston to serve as a branch manager. Working through another acquisition by Wells Fargo, Little went on to serve as senior vice president and principal relationship Manager for the Houston Business Banking Group and most recently served as SVP and Business Banking Manager for the group.
