Gabe Beukinga has joined Radius Bank’s Government Guaranteed Lending division. Beukinga, who brings more than 13 years of experience in SBA lending, business development and executive management, will lead the direction of Radius’ participation in 7a, 504, and USDA’s B&I loan programs.
Before joining Radius, Beukinga was market president at HomeStar Bank, where he launched its SBA lending platform and built a team of eight, grossing more than $100 million in loans in its first two years. Prior to HomeStar, he was managing principal of RBS Finance, where he assisted small businesses with debt advisory and consulting services.
Beukinga is also well-known for his time as senior vice president at SomerCor504, a Chicago-based financial services firm specializing in the SBA 504 loan program. With more than 600 commercial real estate and business loans exceeding $1 billion in total financing for expanding companies, SomerCor504 was named the largest SBA lender in Chicago by Crain’s Chicago Business during his tenure of leadership.
Beukinga will report directly to the bank’s Chicago-based Executive Vice President / National Director of Government Guaranteed Lending, Diane Gallion.
