Alvarez & Marsal Taxand appointed Lewis J. Greenwald managing director of its international tax practice.
Greenwald, who will serve from A&M’s Miami and New York offices, has more than 30 years of experience in international tax matters. Greenwald will help A&M Taxand clients, including multinationals, with U.S. international tax planning, U.S. international tax compliance and controversy, and transfer pricing matters. His experience spans across many industry sectors, with a focus on technology clients.
Prior to joining A&M, Greenwald was a partner at DLA Piper in New York, Mayer Brown, Sullivan & Worcester and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is licensed to practice law in New York and Massachusetts. He is the former regional vice president of the New England region of The International Fiscal Association and a member of the board of the National Foreign Trade Council.
