Patriot National Bancorp, the parent company of Patriot Bank, reorganized its SBA team with an end goal to strengthen its nationwide SBA business lending unit platform.

Gary Griffin was hired as a national SBA sales manager. Griffin has more than 30 years of SBA and leadership experience.

In addition, Michael Green, Ty Barksdale and Skip Canavan will serve as vice presidents and business development officers. Green, who has more than 25 years of experience in the SBA industry, will work out of Georgia. Barksdale, who joined Patriot Bank with more than 15 years of experience in SBA and USDA lending, will work out of Ohio. Canavan has more than 20 years of experience in SBA and USDA lending and will work out of Florida.

Meanwhile, Rebecca Puglia will serve as vice president, senior portfolio manager and underwriter. Puglia has more than 17 years of experience in underwriting, portfolio management in the SBA and commercial lending.

Additionally, Susan Raizer will serve as vice president and senior underwriter. Raizer has more than 23 years of underwriting and portfolio management experience in SBA and commercial lending.

“I’m excited to welcome our new SBA team to Patriot and I look forward to the benefit they will bring to the small business community and Patriot,” Robert Russell, president and CEO of Patriot Bank, said. “These individuals have been successful in developing new business opportunities and are very skilled in small business lending.”
