Rise Line Business Credit hired Morten Kucey as senior managing director. Kucey will play a role in expanding the firm’s relationships and product offerings to originate, structure and underwrite new lending opportunities.

“Rise Line, along with its parent company, Crossroads Impact, is committed to offering institutional-quality capital solutions to small and midsize businesses to help them realize and leverage the full value of their assets,” Kucey said. “Rise Line’s loan structure is greatly needed across many industries. I am eager to join a team that’s solving financing need[s] through a combination of various senior debt products.”

Kucey has more than 20 years of experience in financial services. He has delivered financing and restructuring solutions in a range of situations throughout his career. Kucey’s previous roles include senior positions at VION, SFNet and SB360 Capital Partners. Kucey has also held positions with a merchant banker and fundraising consulting firms.

“Our goal is to deliver a competitive capital solution to help our customers grow their businesses, and we could not have found a better person than Morten to help us accomplish this. His wealth of knowledge, with experience in asset-based lending and asset valuations and dispositions, [is] invaluable,” Gaurang Vyas, CEO of Rise Line Business Credit, said. “He will spend his time expanding our relationships with sponsors and various participants across the industry while presenting our unique capabilities across senior debt solutions, impact financing and SBA loans.”
