Ochoa Joins Genesis Bank as Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Market Leader

Anthony Ochoa joined Genesis Bank as senior vice president, commercial banking market leader, and is responsible for expanding the bank’s commercial banking efforts across its target markets of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, CA.

Gordon, founding chairman and CEO, said. “Over the course of his professional banking career, Tony has exemplified a deep passion and commitment to working directly with clients to obtain an understanding of their financial needs, while delivering the banking products, services and solutions necessary to achieve their objectives. As Genesis scales and expands its commercial banking efforts, the addition of Tony complements our strategic initiatives to enable business and economic growth by generating high quality, full relationship-based, client relationships, across our diverse, majority minority target markets.”

Ochoa joins Genesis from City National Bank, a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada, where he was senior vice president, business development officer – nationwide. During his tenure at City National Bank, Ochoa was highly successful in growing, retaining and managing full client relationships, having achieved multiple awards for excellence and top performance. Through his broad experience in business development and relationship management, Ochoa has a deep understanding of growing, managing and retaining a significant book of business. Additionally, Ochoa’s experience working across numerous business segments, including business banking, commercial, private, entertainment and real estate, provides for a deep understanding of the technology enabled, commercial banking products, services and solutions that are critical to serving the entrepreneurial small to mid-sized businesses and owners across the bank’s Southern California target markets.
