Partners of Moritt Hock & Hamroff, Leslie Berkoff and Theresa Driscoll, have been recognized by Lawdragon as 500 Leading U.S. Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers for 2023. The annual Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America is the most elite distinction in the profession, covering the best of the best in all practice areas.

“Leslie and Theresa are two very special and talented attorneys and I couldn’t be prouder of their well-deserved recognitions as leaders in the bankruptcy field,” Marc Hamroff, managing partner of Morrit Hock & Hamroff, said.

Berkoff serves as the chair of the firm’s dispute resolution practice group and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. In the restructuring space, Berkoff concentrates her practice in Chapter 11 cases, bankruptcy, litigation and corporate workouts where she represents a variety of corporate debtors, trustees, creditors and creditor committees both nationally and locally.

Driscoll serves as chair of the firm’s bankruptcy practice group and concentrates her practice in the representation of corporate debtors, lenders, trustees and unsecured creditors in all aspects of financial restructuring including workouts, Chapter 11 cases and bankruptcy litigation.  Over the past 20 years, Driscoll has aided in the successful reorganization of businesses in Chapter 11 and has also obtained favorable outcomes for creditors, including lenders, in distressed situations.
