Access Capital Completes Executive Promotions

Access Capital Promoted Raphael Torres to the position of executive vice president and head of business development.

Torres’ journey with Access Capital began less than a year ago, and his immediate and substantial impact on the company’s accelerated growth has been significant.

Named a “Forty Under Forty “designee by SFNet in 2018, Torres’ extensive experience in asset-based lending spans more than two decades.

As a member of Access Capital’s senior leadership team, he has steered the expansion of the business development team, accelerated the new business pipeline and spearheaded the development of internal platforms for shepherding and tracking deals and reporting to stakeholders.

“We have established ambitious objectives, Raphael’s contributions are a major contributor to our achieving these goals and a reflection of the trust we have in his ability to drive business development to new heights,” Terry Keating, CEO of Access Capital, said. “This promotion is a well-deserved recognition of his embodiment of our Mission, Vision, Values, and the positive impact Raph has on our entire organization.”

Access Capital also promoted John Belling to executive vice president and chief credit officer.

Belling’s journey with Access Capital began in 2003 as an account executive, and through unwavering dedication and lending expertise, he climbed the ranks, becoming a VP, team leader, and finally, an SVP before reaching this significant milestone.

“John has been a core contributor to Access’ success for more than 20 years, leading our portfolio management and part of the senior leadership team. He has consistently displayed excellence in credit management, team cultivation, and overall development of Access’ business,” Keating said.
