David Sun, principal, cybersecurity of CohnReznick, an advisory, assurance and tax firm in the United States, has been named to The Consulting Report’s Top 25 Cybersecurity Consultants and Leaders of 2024 list. This is Sun’s second consecutive recognition by The Consulting Report as one of its top cybersecurity leaders.

As a principal in CohnReznick’s cybersecurity practice, Sun leads the practice’s security incident response and recovery services, as well as its computer forensic and litigation support services. Sun has more than 25 years of cybersecurity and IT management experience responding to data breach and privacy incidents, internal employee malfeasance and government agency investigations. He has extensive experience developing comprehensive cloud security service offerings that provide clients with access to an end-to-end suite of cybersecurity, technology risk and privacy services. Sun earned a BS in electrical engineering and an MS in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech. He is a Certified Computer Examiner, Certified Information Systems Security Professional and EnCase Certified Examiner.
