Durable Goods Orders Drop in March

New orders for manufactured durable goods in March decreased $8.8 billion or 4.2% to $202.6 billion, the U.S. Census Bureau announced in its advanced report. This decrease, down two of the last three months, followed a 1.9% February increase.

Final Defendants Sentenced in Le-Nature’s Fraud

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that the son and wife of former Le-Nature’s CEO Gregory J. Podlucky were sentenced to nine and four years in prison, respectively, ending the criminal cases associated with the Latrobe beverage maker’s collapse.
