Guggenheim Supports Liberty Tax Acquisition of Sears Hometown

Liberty Tax has agreed to acquire Sears Hometown’s Outlet business and its Buddy’s Home Furnishings Stores in an all cash transaction valued at up to approximately $132.9 million.

Sears Authorized Hometown Stores, Sears Home Appliance Showrooms and Sears Outlet Stores entered into a $40 million term loan credit agreement with Gordon Brothers Finance Company, as agent, lead arranger, sole bookrunner and lender.
