TD Bank Names Braca Head of Corporate and Specialty Banking

TD Bank named Greg Braca as head of U.S. Corporate and Specialty Banking, reporting to TD’s president and CEO Bharat Masrani.

Braca assumes his new role after serving as regional president for TD Bank’s Metro New York market and head of Healthcare Banking. As head of Corporate and Specialty Banking, Braca will be responsible for corporate banking, in partnership with TD Securities, as well as commercial real estate, healthcare, equipment finance, asset-based lending and dealer commercial services.

“I’m thrilled to take on this senior leadership role within TD Bank, driving the growth of our Corporate and Specialty Banking businesses, as we become an industry-leading corporate bank and continue to build upon our rapidly expanding portfolio of clients. Each of our six businesses within Corporate and Specialty Banking has enormous potential for growth, especially as we leverage the TD brand across all our markets from Maine to Florida,” Braca said.

Braca has 25 years of experience in the banking industry. He joined TD Bank in 2002, and has played a key leadership role in TD Bank’s growth in the Metro New York region. In addition to managing Retail and Commercial Banking in New York, he has also been instrumental in successfully building out the bank’s Small Business, Government Banking, Middle Market and Specialty Lending businesses. Prior to joining TD, he served as senior vice president for FleetBoston Bank’s New York Metro Healthcare Group.

Braca actively serves with a variety of community-focused organizations, including the Greater New York Boy Scouts, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City, St. Francis de Sales School for the Deaf, and the New York Partnership.
