S&C was recognized by The American Lawyer’s Global Legal Awards, a competition focused on the best cross-border work in disputes, finance, M&A and citizenship.

S&C won first prize for its work in the following areas:

  • Global M&A Deal of the Year, Europe/Ireland for Perrigo/Elan
  • Global M&A Deal of the Year, China Private Equity for Focus Media
  • Global Finance Deal of the Year, Capital Markets, Asia for China Merchants Bank
  • Global Pro Bono Dispute of the Year for Franco-Gonzalez v. Holder

    • Each winning firm will be recognized at the Global Legal Awards dinner, to be held this year in New York Sept. 15. Four Grand Prize winners in each category will also be announced at the ceremony.
