Republic Capital announced that Matt Stavish joined the firm as VP.

“We are very pleased that Matt is part of our senior management team,” said Ed Stucky, president and CEO. “Matt has demonstrated a remarkable ability to communicate the benefits of program and company to a multitude of audiences — whether recruiting student athletes to a Division I football program or bringing the virtues of a life-saving vaccine to a doctor. We are confident that this same commitment to integrity and forthrightness will translate well into the financial services industry.”

“I looked at many opportunities and was especially drawn to Republic’s commitment to its customers and its prospects,” said Stavish. “It is no surprise that Republic is the fastest growing specialty finance company
for U.S. Government contractors.”

Stavish began his career in intercollegiate athletics at the University of Virginia in 2003, moving to Washington and Lee University, and finally Temple University. He transitioned to Novartis Vaccines in 2011 to focus on public health and immunization practices. At Novartis, he held several roles in sales, marketing, and management.
