Morgan Lewis Hires Veteran Bankruptcy/Restructuring Lawyer

Morgan Lewis announced today that Glenn E. Siegel, a lawyer with more than 25 years of experience handling high level bankruptcy matters for a diverse client base, has
joined the firm as a partner in its Business and Finance Practice and co-head of its Bankruptcy and Restructuring Group in New York.

Siegel, who was most recently a partner in the bankruptcy, business restructuring and reorganization practice of another Am Law 100 global law firm, has advised major
stakeholders in a multitude of bankruptcy cases over the course of his career. He has counseled bondholders, indenture trustees, acquirers of distressed businesses and
assets, secured creditors, shareholders, debtors, and other participants in bankruptcy and workout matters.

“Glenn’s wealth of experience counseling a wide array of clients on all sides of bankruptcy and restructuring matters will be a valuable asset to the firm and our
clients as we continue to broaden the scope of our work in the distressed equity and debt arena,” said Firm Chair Francis M. Milone.

“Adding Glenn to our practice will help us to effectively serve the needs of a growing contingent of distressed investors playing a more significant role in bankruptcy
cases,” said Charles Engros, leader of Morgan Lewis’s Business and Finance Practice. “His ability to skillfully represent both distressed investors and trustees will
prove highly synergistic with the capabilities of our other bankruptcy and restructuring attorneys as well as those in transactional and litigation practices that
focus on this area of the law.”
