Paul Hastings announced that the firm was recognized by PERE, a private real estate investment news publication and intelligence service, in its 2013 Global PERE Awards as Law Firm of the Year (Transactions) in North America and Law Firm of the Year (Fund Formation) in Asia.

In a related profile article on the North American practice, PERE noted that Paul Hastings “led the pack this year when it came to advising on real estate transactions, working with an impressive roster of clients that executed some of 2013’s largest deals.” The article mentioned the firm’s representation of Ivanhoe Cambridge in connection with two joint venture portfolios valued at $2 billion. The piece also highlighted the practice’s work for Starwood Capital Group on nearly 300 hotel properties throughout the U.S. for over $2 billion.
