Carlos Escobar, president of factoring firm ExpoCredit, announced the appointment of Tyler V. Grady as the company’s new executive vice president and chief marketing officer.

Grady, a seasoned financial professional with more than three decades of industry expertise, previously held the position of executive vice president at LSQ Funding Group of Maitland, FL, also serving as that firm’s chief development officer and chief marketing/sales officer.

“The addition of Tyler as an integral part of our executive team underscores our focus on expanding ExpoCredit’s corporate footprint in 2014,” says Escobar. “We are riding a strong wave of growth, with a significant jump in assets under management, higher sales volumes and new funding sources. Tyler’s proven capabilities and substantial leadership skills will be invaluable as we execute our strategic growth plans.”

Prior to his 14-year tenure at LSQ, Grady held multiple positions at Bank of America, including senior vice president. Starting out as a commercial banking executive, he progressed rapidly through the ranks, serving as senior vice president/credit policy executive in Florida before being appointed senior vice president/senior risk management executive for the West Coast Private Bank Lending franchise. Grady was also responsible for implementing Asset Quality Programs during major mergers and acquisitions.
