Capital Business Credit announced that Martin Schnurr will join the team to grow its factoring and trade finance business in the Southeast.

Schnurr brings to CBC more than 35 years of experience providing factoring and trade finance facilities to businesses of all sizes. He will serve as SVP, and be based in Atlanta. Schnurr will report to Malcolm Ferguson, EVP and regional manager of CBC’s Charlotte, NC office.

“Martin brings decades of factoring expertise to Capital Business Credit. In his role, Martin will help CBC reach businesses in the Southeast that operate in a variety of sectors and are in need of working capital and credit,” said Marc Adelson, CEO, CBC.

“Capital Business Credit has a long history of providing small and middle-market companies with financial products to support growth,” said Schnurr. “I am looking forward to being part of CBC’s team as it takes a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to lending cutting out much of the red tape, which enables the company to both customize solutions and make quick lending decisions.”

Prior to joining CBC, Schnurr served as VP at financial institutions including Milberg Factors, Wells Fargo and SunTrust Bank, where he developed new sales territories to supply companies with traditional factoring. Schnurr also served as assistant VP at CIT Group, where he managed the Southeast office’s largest clients.
