The Wall Street Journal reported a bankruptcy judge put Crumbs Bake Shop on the path to a quick sale. According to the Journal , Judge Michael Kaplan of U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Trenton, NJ, set a July 24 hearing to approve procedures for an auction of the company.

The lead bid was set at roughly $6.5 million from Fischer Enterprises and CNBC star Marcus Lemonis, the Journal said further.
