WSFS Bank, the primary subsidiary of WSFS Financial, hired John Heiser as senior vice president and senior private banking relationship manager, reporting to Cheryl Vaughan, senior vice president, private banking relationship manager team lead.

As an addition to the private banking team, Heiser will manage private wealth management relationships for high-net-worth clients, supporting their needs through credit, deposit and wealth management services.

“We are excited to add John to our private wealth management team,” Harrison Gelber, senior vice president and director of private banking, said. “His deep expertise in credit, deposit and wealth management services will be an asset to our team and clients. His hire reflects our continuing commitment to build the premier wealth management business for the markets we serve.”

“I’m excited to join a dynamic team of seasoned professionals during this time of extreme growth for the organization,” Heiser said.

Heiser brings more than 20 years of experience in customizing wealth management solutions to meet even the most complex financial needs. Prior to joining WSFS, Heiser spent the last 12 years with Wilmington Trust, nine of those as a senior private banker. Earlier in his career at Wilmington Trust, he was a mortgage advisor to ultra-high-net-worth clients. He is a member of the Irish American Business Chamber.

In addition to continuing education courses from Cannon Financial Institute, Heiser earned a master’s degree in education from Cabrini College and a bachelor’s degree in English from Temple University. He resides in West Chester, PA.
