WFCF Expands UK Originations Team

Wells Fargo Capital Finance UK appointed Jake Hyman and Julian Osborne as business development officers, reporting to Tom Weedall, head of UK Originations. They will be based in London.

“I am delighted to have the caliber of both Jake and Julian joining the Originations team,” said Weedall. “Wells Fargo is a leading asset-based lender in the UK market, and alongside our expertise and flexible solutions, these important appointments demonstrate our commitment to grow our UK footprint and support our customers and their stakeholders.”

Hyman will be responsible for sourcing and developing ABL and technology finance opportunities across London and the South East. He joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 2017 as a loan originations analyst supporting the commercial team with prospective deals and presenting findings to the Bank’s credit committee. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Capital Finance, he completed the Ernst & Young graduate program, specializing in financial advisory.

Osborne will be also be responsible for sourcing and developing ABL and technology finance opportunities across London and the Midlands. He joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 2016 as a relationship manager and previously as a credit underwriter. Osborne is a qualified chartered accountant with 13 years of experience across a range of ABL, corporate advisory and restructuring work. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Osborne worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers on its deals team with a focus on restructuring and corporate recovery.
