Wells Fargo named Mary Katherine DuBose the head of the bank’s secured lending division, which includes asset-based lending, equipment finance, supply chain finance and inventory finance.

In this role, DuBose will lead key lending divisions for Wells Fargo’s commercial banking business, delivering working capital solutions to serve the needs of clients globally. Through the company’s portfolio of secured lending solutions, DuBose will work directly with clients and lend on a variety of collateral. DuBose will report to Kyle Hranicky, CEO of Wells Fargo Commercial Banking.

“Mary Katherine’s resiliency, determination and focused leadership that she has demonstrated with employees, clients and lending partners has shown that she’s an incredible asset to this company,” Hranicky said. “Her background and deep lending expertise will help us execute critical work and grow our business. We are excited to have Mary Katherine as part of the commercial banking team.”

Previously, DuBose was Wells Fargo’s chief credit officer and was responsible for the independent oversight of credit risk management practices and lending decisions across the company for line-of-business credit policies. DuBose has more than 20 years of banking experience, having held various leadership positions within Wells Fargo that include the following: head of capital markets, where she led teams responsible for asset-backed finance, debt capital markets and equity capital markets; co-head of asset-backed finance; and head of debt capital markets. In addition, she has held leadership positions for the corporate debt finance, subscription finance and corporate net lease groups.
