Tennessee Bank & Trust has added Chet Alexander as chief credit officer and Sandi Lanier as executive vice president, Operations and Compliance.

Alexander and Lanier will oversee all credit and lending restructuring and the strategic operations and lending compliance for the bank, respectively.

“This is an exciting time for our bank — we are strengthening our leadership team and looking to continue to hire at all levels throughout our organization,” said Brian Heinrichs, president and chief banking officer of Tennessee Bank & Trust. “Chet is an industry veteran and a leader who will make a tremendous difference for our bank and our clients. His unique background in the local banking industry combined with his strategic approach to lending make him an ideal fit for our team during this growth phase.”_x000D_

Alexander has more than 25 years of proven credit experience, focusing on commercial and agricultural lending and loan operations. Prior to joining Tennessee Bank & Trust, he held several senior level positions at Simmons Bank. Previously, Alexander also served as chief credit officer for First State Bank where he spent 16 years.

“We’re thrilled to have Sandi Lanier join our team as Executive Vice President, given her proven track record as an exceptional leader in this space,” Heinrichs added. “She will play a vital role as we grow, strengthening our compliance programs and improving our overall operations here at the bank.”

Lanier brings more than four decades of financial services expertise, including an extensive background managing various loan operational areas. Most recently, Lanier served as executive vice president of Operations & Compliance for CapStar Bank in Nashville, TN.

Tennessee Bank & Trust serves a variety of clients in personal and commercial banking space.
