TD Bank named Mike Nursey commercial market president for North Florida to support continued growth efforts in the region, which includes the greater Orlando, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Jacksonville, Gainesville, Ocala, Daytona, Lakeland and Melbourne areas. Nursey is based in Tampa.

“Mike is a dynamic, people-first leader with extensive experience in small business, commercial and middle-market lending and a passion for serving the local communities where he lives and works,” Nick Miceli, regional president of Florida for TD Bank, said. “Mike’s proven industry expertise as well as his client-centric mindset will serve him very well in his new role.”

Nursey joined TD in 2012 as regional vice president of the northeast Florida region before he advanced to serve as TD’s commercial market president in Central Florida. Most recently, he led TD’s middle-market strategy in Florida. Nursey has more than more than 30 years of experience in banking and commercial lending. His prior experience includes positions in retail and commercial lending, leading teams as an executive at Regions Bank.

As North Florida commercial market president, Nursey will lead a team of three regional vice presidents and oversee growth of TD’s local commercial and small business lending and deposit portfolios. Nursey also will continue to support the local middle-market team while the bank selects his replacement for his previous role.
