Colbeck Capital Management welcomed Jared Talisman as a managing director and head of originations for the firm. Talisman most recently served as a managing director at Principal Alternative Credit, where he led and managed the sourcing, structuring and due diligence of non-sponsored private credit investments.

“We are pleased to welcome Jared to Colbeck as we bolster our origination team with top talent and expand our investment pipeline,” Beckman and Colodne said. “Jared’s extensive network of borrowers, co-financing partners and capital providers will be a significant value-add to our investment selection, diligence and structuring capabilities.”

“Colbeck has cemented its position as a premier strategic lender to middle-market companies with a proven track record of leveraging deep industry relationships, bespoke credit structuring capabilities and significant special situations experience to support businesses in transition,” Talisman said. “I am honored to join the team and look forward to driving opportunities for the firm and our clients.”

Talisman brings more than 15 years of middle-market private credit experience to Colbeck. Prior to Principal Alternative Credit, Talisman was a director at Stonehenge Capital. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking at GrowthCap, North Sea Partners and Lehman Brothers. Talisman holds a Bachelor of Commerce in finance from McGill University and a Master of business administration from Cornell University.
