Petersen Health Care, an operator of nursing homes and assisted living and long-term care facilities, filed for relief under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and secured a commitment of $45 million in debtor-in-possession financing.
