Kevin L. Thompson has joined Opus Bank as EVP/CFO, effective November 10, 2017 and has been appointed to Opus’ executive committee replaciing Nicole M. Carrillo, who resigned from her position and will continue as a consultant.
Ray Lopez joined Opus Bank as director, Fiduciary Banking. Lopez will focus on expanding Opus’ West Coast client base of corporate financial services companies.
James Hatter joined Opus Bank as senior vice president, senior client manager in commercial banking. Hatter, a 30-year banking veteran, will be responsible for expanding Opus’ commercial and corporate client base in the San Francisco Bay area.
Kathryn Gonzales joined Opus Bank as senior vice president, head of sales integration.
John Norawong has joined Opus Bank as senior managing director, Commercial Banking, Pacific Northwest Region.
Opus Bank’s Merchant Banking division, through its broker-dealer subsidiary, Opus Financial Partners, served as financial advisor to Destination Pet on its placement of $30 million of debt and equity growth capital.
Opus Bank added Amondo Redmond as senior vice president and chief marketing officer.
Evan Klein joined Opus Bank as managing director, head of Media, Entertainment and Business Services Merchant Banking.
Opus Bank added Richard Thomas to its board of directors. He will serve as the chair of the board’s audit committee. He will replace the retiring Robert Shackleton, who became a director emeritus.
