Music industry specialty finance firm Sound Royalties named seasoned executive Michael Bizenov as the company’s new president.

Bizenov will bring his entrepreneurial management style to Sound Royalties’ South Florida-based headquarters to fuel the company’s future growth plans.

Bizenov comes to Sound Royalties with a distinguished level of experience in financial services, business strategy, sales leadership and management development which he has utilized to build and grow numerous companies and divisions over the course of his career.

“We are thrilled to welcome Michael to our team and know that he will be transformative for Sound Royalties going forward,” said Sound Royalties Founder and CEO Alex Heiche. “I started Sound Royalties out of a passion for the music business, and for us to continue our successful rise to the top of the industry, I need to stay active in this space and close to our customers, friends and supporters. With Michael now expertly managing the company, I can concentrate on the music and the creatives who are the cornerstone of our business.”

Bizenov previously served as a consultant for UBS and Litchfield Road Consulting, where he provided senior advisory support on program implementation, business and strategy development, sales and financing, and process enhancement. Prior to that, he spent 20 years at Sterling National Bank, helping grow the bank’s assets from under $1 billion to $15 billion and culminating his tenure there as the institution’s president of Consumer Banking.

Sound Royalties is a privately-owned specialty finance firm that helps music industry professionals fund personal and professional projects while allowing them to retain the rights to their music and royalties.
