Jason Shanahan joined Citizens Commercial Banking as a senior vice president and senior originator in the Retail Finance Group.
Shanahan will be based in Boston and will report to Jaime Ward, head of the Retail Finance Group, which provides industry expertise and financial solutions to retailers across the United States.
Prior to joining Citizens, Shanahan spent nearly 20 years with Wells Fargo Capital Finance, most recently as a director in the Retail Finance Group. He led relationship development and strategic capital deployment across a diverse loan portfolio. Previously he was a senior relationship manager, working with domestic and international middle market companies. Shanahan also held an underwriting position with the bank.
“Jason’s extensive background in the asset-based lending industry makes him a natural fit for the Retail Finance Group and a great addition to the Citizens team,” said Ward. “We welcome him to the team as we continue to focus on providing value for our clients at every stage of their business life cycle.”
