Republic Bank & Trust promoted Jim Kirkpatrick to Florida Market president.
Kirkpatrick joined Republic in 2017 as senior vice president/market manager – Tampa/Hillsborough. He brings 35 years of banking experience to his new leadership role of the bank, whose corporate headquarters is based in Louisville, KY. He started his career in banking in Pennsylvania and moved to the Tampa Bay market in 2012 to work for C1 Bank, later moving to the Florida Bank Group/Iberiabank before joining Republic.
“Republic is excited to have Jim as our Market President,” said Andy Powell, executive vice president and chief credit officer. “Jim has a wealth of knowledge and contacts that will serve us well as we work to expand both our business and physical presence in the greater Tampa market.”
