Quasar Capital appointed Dustin Green as vice president of underwriting. Green brings a wealth of experience in underwriting, credit analysis and relationship management, having served in key roles within the commercial finance industry. In his new role, Green will be instrumental in advancing Quasar Capital’s commitment to providing tailored financial solutions, particularly in the areas of asset-based lending and factoring.

“Dustin calm, focused approach to achieving objectives aligns perfectly with our long-term goals,” Brian Center, partner at Quasar Capital, said. “We have all been impressed by his strong command of underwriting and his ability to anticipate and manage complex scenarios. Dustin’s addition will significantly elevate our underwriting expertise, especially in managing larger and more complex transactions where Quasar Capital excels.”

Green has a strong track record in the commercial finance industry, having contributed to the growth and success of several demanding firms. His expertise lies not only in his analytical skills but also in his commitment to fostering strong client relationships.

“I want to help Quasar Capital become more than just a factor and ABL lender. My goal is to build a strong and long-lasting book of business where relationships extend beyond the transactional,” Green said. “I aim to facilitate Quasar Capital’s evolution into a true financial partner for our clients, helping them understand budgeting and cash flow while utilizing our products and services to achieve their financial objectives.”

Green’s approach to underwriting is rooted in fairness and respect, values that are deeply aligned with Quasar Capital’s culture.

“Dustin is an immediate fit with Quasar’s mission of improving lives and ensuring that all voices are heard and understood,” Center said. “He brings a sense of calm and leadership that will serve him well in this role. We are very fortunate to have someone of Dustin’s caliber join our team, and we look forward to the positive impact he will have on our clients and our company.”

“Since Lori’s departure last year, we have been searching for someone with the honed skills necessary for underwriting larger and more complex transactions. Dustin fills that need exceptionally,” Center said. “His deep industry experience, combined with his character and leadership, makes him the ideal person to take Quasar’s underwriting capabilities to the next level.”

“I am thrilled to be a part of Quasar Capital and to help shape its future,” Green said. “Together, we will work towards building strong, lasting relationships with our clients, ensuring that we meet their financial needs while upholding the highest standards of excellence.”
