Kevin Doyle is a restructuring professional with over seven years of experience specializing in special situations, restructurings and due diligence. His ability to navigate complex financial and operational challenges has made him a trusted advisor to middle-market companies across industries. He has played a key role in restructuring initiatives, capital raising and buy/sell mandates.

Doyle has worked with public, private, family-owned, start-up and private equity-backed companies to optimize operations and financial performance. His strengths in financial analysis, cost reduction and process improvement allow him to assess situations quickly, build consensus and implement tailored solutions.

Doyle began his career in Deloitte’s advisory group before transitioning into a finance role at a private equity-backed tech start-up in Boston. Seeking to broaden his expertise, he joined Phoenix Management as an analyst. At Phoenix, and now at J.S. Held, he has worked on a wide range of engagements, gaining exposure to complex financial and operational challenges that have positioned him as a leader in turnaround and restructuring.

One of Doyle’s proudest accomplishments was leading the turnaround of a mid-sized manufacturing company on the brink of bankruptcy. Through strategic and financial restructuring, he and his team stabilized operations and returned the company to profitability within a year.

He has embraced data analytics and financial modeling software to enhance decision-making in restructuring projects and sees AI-powered tools playing a growing role in improving efficiency and accuracy. Doyle also notes increased mergers and acquisitions in specialty finance, driven by the need for scale and diversification. Demand for flexible financing is growing, with private lenders stepping in as traditional banks pull back.

Doyle encourages future finance professionals to seek growth opportunities, build networks and stay adaptable. Over the next decade, he aims to lead larger restructuring projects and mentor the next generation of leaders.
