Peapack-Gladstone Financial and Peapack-Gladstone Bank appointed John P. O’Gorman senior vice president and head of special assets at Peapack-Gladstone Bank. He will be managing various workout situations and processes for the bank at its headquarters in Bedminster, NJ.
In this role, O’Gorman will be responsible for managing the workout portfolio, recommending risk rating changes and impairment levels to executive management, negotiating with borrowers, developing workout strategies, and assisting with policy and procedure updates and other credit-related matters.
O’Gorman has 35 years of banking experience, previously serving as workout director at Santander Bank, where he was responsible for workout portfolio management, note sales and OREO management. Prior to that, he served as senior director of special assets at Capital One, director of mergers and acquisitions at Alcatel-Lucent and in other roles at Wells Fargo.
