Axiom Bank hired Urjit Patel as executive vice president, Consumer Banking. In this role, Patel will be responsible for developing and implementing multi-channel growth and customer engagement strategies for the bank’s consumer lending, digital and retail divisions.
Patel has nearly 30 years of experience in banking, most recently serving as CEO of a Houston-based credit union, where he created a culture of innovation and transparency that helped drive the organization to new heights of success.

Patel has been in the Central Florida market for over 20 years and graduated from the University of Central Florida.
