MorrisAnderson, a middle-market consulting and turnaround firm, added Thomas M. McCabe as a managing director in its Chicago office.

McCabe previously worked at Glen Ridge Advisory as managing director and at JS Held Financial Advisory Services as principal and managing director in restructuring, turnaround and receivership services. Prior to that, he served as managing director and central region leader at BDO Advisory Services. He has also worked as the Chicago market leader for multiple financial firms, including KPMG.

In his role as managing director at MorrisAnderson, McCabe will work with clients across contract and lender negotiations, debt restructurings, capital raising and refinancings, budgets, financial and operational analyses and cash flow projections. His industry experience includes work in the wholesale and distribution, industrial and manufacturing, technology, healthcare, retail, banking and refinancing, and real estate sectors.

“Tom is a great addition to the MorrisAnderson team,” Dan Dooley, principal and CEO of MorrisAnderson, said. “His experience is a powerful combination of turnaround and restructuring successes in multiple industries that will benefit our clients.”

McCabe is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and American Bankruptcy Institute. He is also a certified public accountant and co-chairs the education committee for the Secured Finance Network.
