MidCap Financial added Dan Avnir to its lender finance team as managing director. Avnir was previously chief commercial officer at Encina Lender Finance, where he was responsible for the origination and syndication efforts across its entire portfolio. Prior to Encina, Avnir served as managing director for Bryant Park Capital, where he focused on M&A and debt capital markets advisory primarily in the financial services sector. In his new role, he will be responsible for sourcing and executing transactions for MidCap Financial’s lender finance vertical.
