BBVA USA hired Luisa Gavino Martinez as its new Commercial Relationship Manager. She will be responsible for managing and developing a robust portfolio of commercial and global wealth clients in the Austin, TX market.
Martinez comes to the bank after a 17-year run with a competing financial institution, holding the position of business banking manager for the last five years. She has almost 20 years of experience in the business industry.
“Luisa’s longevity and wealth of knowledge in the banking industry will be key components to our operation in Austin,” said BBVA USA Austin CEO Dillan Knudson. “Our presence in this market is significant to the bank’s overall bottom line, and we’re eager to see Luisa’s expertise help both our continued success and enhance the services we provide for our clients. During her time as a business banking manager, Martinez led a team of business relationship managers who served businesses that had annual sales from $5 million to $50 million. Previously she was a senior business relationship manager for 10 years.
