Stephen Weber joined Focus Management Group as managing director. Weber has more than 28 years of experience in transactional consulting, business management, public accounting, corporate finance, litigation support, forensic investigations and business valuation.
Weber has experience in manufacturing, service, real estate, defense and agricultural industries. Within these industries he has worked with clients by analyzing assets available for refinance, forecasting available cash flows to sustain operations, optimizing operations, developing operational metrics to increase profitability and cash flow, and negotiating with credit sources to refinance businesses.
Weber has consulted with several businesses that were in a turnaround transition. He has also acted as the court-appointed receiver for several real estate developments that resulted in the successful sale of those properties, while shepherding them through litigation. He has served as the financial advisor to companies in bankruptcy, has acted as the liquidating agent in multiple wind-down situations, and provided expert witness testimony in U.S. Bankruptcy Court as well as state court.
Prior to his consulting experience, Weber worked in public accounting. He has CPA, CFF and CTA designations and is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association and Risk Management Association.
