First Business Bank hired Kristen Palmer as vice president and a business development officer for the accounts receivable financing group within the bank’s subsidiary, First Business Specialty Finance.

“We are very excited to have Kristen on our team,” Bill Elliott, president of First Business Bank’s accounts receivable financing group, said. “We are impressed with the visibility that she has achieved in the market and believe that she will be a significant contributor for us, both with respect to new business opportunities as well as to our internal culture.”

“I am absolutely thrilled to be joining such an experienced team and I look forward to facing the challenges ahead,” Palmer said. “I’m eager to take on this new opportunity with my unique set of skills to help further develop First Business Bank’s accounts receivable financing group and am enthusiastic about our future success!”

Palmer has more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry. She has held positions with several specialty commercial finance lenders, where she structured revolving lines of credit, analyzed risk and managed underwriting processes.

Since 2018, Palmer has been active within the South Florida financial community, serving as president of the South Florida chapter of the Secured Finance Network.
